Happy Eid al-Fitr

Happy Eid al-Fitr

The one month of fasting or Ramadan which officially started last July 20, 2012 will be ending today. The celebration of Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The feast of Eid ul-Fitr is believed to be the best time to give in to charity and celebrate the blessings with the whole family and friends. (Just like the Thanks Giving for us Christians except there is no fasting).

The best food that I remember every Eid is Tinagtag or rice fritter ( an indigenous delicacy). Which I would really request my friend to bring me before.

Happy Eid ul-Fitr to all our Muslim Brothers and Sisters.
