There are countless festivals in the Philippines because that is part of the Filipino Culture. Each Barrio have their own fiesta. From fruits festival to Religious festivities. Just almost anything as long as there is something to celebrate.
The famous festivals are just those festivals that originates from Big Cities like Manila, Cebu, Davao and other famous places/cities.
Today, July 29 Pampanga is celebrating their “Manyaman Festival”. It is a two-day event that will showcase the Pampanga”s best offerings – from food, furniture, designs and culture – all under one major affair. “Manyaman” is a Kapampangan word for “masarap” (delicious).
Each festivals are celebrated in different ways. Usually it is done through the traditions and beliefs passed by the ancestors. But the thing that is always present is the food since it is all about feasts.
